Bereavement Group
Who Are We:
The
bereavement support group is a voluntary organization formed to assist
individuals, families, Butler County Board of MRD/DD employees and
private providers with the funeral/grief arrangements when someone
served by the Butler County Board of MR/DD
passes away.
What Do We Do:
• Help identify the need for pre-planned funeral arrangements and assist individuals in setting up these arrangements
•
Plan fund raiser to raise funds for the Bereavement Support Group Fund,
through the Butler County Arc, for those individuals served by the
BCMRDD that need financial support for their funeral expenses.
• Provide support to family, friends and providers when an individual served by the BCMRDD passes away.
How Can You Help?
• Membership in out group
• Donations, which could include services, plots, flowers, as well as monetary donations.
Donations
can be made to the Bereavement Support Group Fund in care of the Butler
County Arc at BCARC, 282 N. Fair Ave., Hamilton, Ohio 45011
